Wayne & Angela Harper

At present, our travels have taken us to churches in Kentucky, and Virginia where we have been in three mission conferences. All have been an encouragement to us. Two were new churches who have taken us on for support, and a supporting church voted to increase our support. We praise the Lord for this answer to prayer. The theme for one mission conference was "Blessed to Be a Blessing." The last verse of the song described the staff from the pastor on down: "For the greastest in His Kingdom, is the servant of us all." Truly the servant's heart shown during the conference will long be remembered. One incident simply demonstrates what was displayed: I walked out to my van one day and the back tire was flat. both the youth pastor and principal of the school changed the tire for me in the midst of their busy schedule. In March, Caleb had his much needed operation on his knee. He tore his ACL and meniscus while playing basketball. We were able to be with him during the first 10 days of his recovery and assist him with therapy and getting him back and forth to his classes. He is off crutches now with just a brace on his leg. However, it will take up to a year to get full recovery of his knee. We appreciate those of you who prayed for him.Our year of furlough is almost at an end. We return to Australia June 14 and are still in need of finances to pay for return airline tickets. It takes a lot of money to fly to and from the field, and we lack $6000 to pay our tickets in full. Please pray the Lord will supply in the next few weeks. This has become URGENT for us as we have so little time before we leave. If you can help, please designate any gift as "Travel Fund for the Harpers"Your prayers and support continue to form the foundation of our ministry. We are so thankful for each of you. We never take you for granted and trust the Lord to bless you all.FIELD ADDRESS:P.O. Box 374Helensvale, Qld. Austrailia 4212MISSION ADDRESS:Baptist International Missions, Inc.P.O.
